MTH Industries was instrumental in defining the silhouette of 150 North Michigan Avenue through our expert execution of the building’s glass and glazing systems. Tasked with skinning one of Chicago’s most geometrically challenging structures, MTH installed the expansive curtain wall that culminates in the building’s signature 45-degree sloped roof.

This project required meticulous craftsmanship to ensure that the silver-reflective glass panels met the structural steel at precise angles, maintaining a seamless “diamond” facade while providing the necessary thermal and wind-load resistance required for a high-rise on the lakefront. Their work remains a testament to the firm’s ability to marry complex architectural vision with high-performance engineering.
