Chicago Tribune

A historic restoration and glass integration worthy of the front-page.

For the landmark conversion of the Tribune Tower into luxury residences, MTH Industries provided essential architectural metal and glazing services that bridged the gap between the building’s 1925 Neo-Gothic heritage and its new residential purpose. Our team was responsible for the intricate work of installing high-performance glass within the building’s historic masonry openings, ensuring that the new windows met modern energy and acoustic standards without disturbing the delicate limestone facade.

MTH also handled specialized ornamental metal restoration and miscellaneous steel throughout the building’s common areas and prestigious new retail spaces, preserving the “Cathedral of Journalism” aesthetic while updating the infrastructure for 21st-century luxury living.
